This is what the first day of Spring looks like in Mat-Su Valley, Alaska.
20 March mark as first day of Spring, here in the northern hemisphere. Alaska included. While Google has flowers for its doodle, do not expect flower buds yet (in Alaska). However, I feel the difference in weather today like, it is much warmer and I am able to step out from the house without jacket. Only two layers of thin shirts and just jeans. It was 12 Celcius with no wind blows, makes me feel that I am ready to do some hiking NOW. The skies are crazy, clear blue, surprises me with sharp view of mountains around this valley. I told Mike that, I never saw skies so bright than this before, here in Wasilla Alaska! Pada sesiapa yang suka sangat duduk dalam aircond below 20 Celcius, memang sangat suka benarlah cuaca kat sini sekarang ni.
So for the time being, the view of snow blanketed mountains will be seeing around here. Rasa macam di resort percutian pun ada. Except, I am one of the lucky Malaysian who got to see this everyday with no obligation. Anyway, do not get me wrong. My intention to put these pictures on here has nothing to do with showing off. I just kept my promise to share what I see here in Alaska or other remote places in the world for my good darling readers since few of them told me that they are ‘physically there’ after seeing pictures on my blog.
Let’s start with Spring cleaning, shall we?
