Semalam aku pegi jalan jalan ke Soldotna dengan adik Mike (adir ipar aku la). Kami bertolak awal pagi pukul 10. Untuk pertama kalinya aku ternampak sesuatu yang baru muncul di kaki langit Alaska, di sepanjang lebuhraya Parks highway. Cantik. Tapi pelik.
Aku tanya adik ipar aku. Kata dia kejadian tu disebabkan molekul udara yang berlainan kemampatan. Tapi… setahu aku kalau udara, mestilah bentuk rawak kan. Ini cantik lurus macam pancaran. Kalau aku tanya orang Melayu, mesti kata itu tanda nak kiamat. Kalau aku tanya mat salleh, mesti kata alien dan projek kerajaan untuk merosakkan mukabumi. Semua orang tahu di Alaska ada stesen HAARP di Gakona. Kononnya dah abandon. Tapi entahlah.
Walau apa pun, aku akan terus menikmati keindahan dan kepelikan ni selagi nyawa di kandung badan. Aku tak mau serabutkan kepala dan hati, takut pada sesuatu yang tiada jawapan. Mati (kiamat kecil) dan Kiamat besar itu pasti. Dan kepelikan itu, aku jadikan sebagai keajaiban kejadian alam anugerah Tuhan.

Yesterday, I went to visit Soldotna with my sister in law. We leave the house early, around 10AM. For the first time I saw something new appears in Alaska’s skies. It appears along Parks Highway horizon. It is beautiful.
I asked Valerie (my sister in law) what is that blue streaks in the skies. She said it caused by the molecules in the air. But I came to think that, if it caused by the molecules, it should be scattered like Aurora, not a straight line. If I asked Malays, they would say that’s the sign of the end of the world. If I ask westerners, they would say that’s must be alien or government secret project to manipulate world’s climate blah blah blah. Everyone knows that Alaska has a HAARP station in Gakona. It is now being abandoned, but, I don’t know.
Whatever it is, I will continue enjoying the beautiful and (or) strange nature as long as I live. I don’t want to worry over something that I don’t know. I refused to fear of the unknown. Death and earth destruction is certain. Everyone must go through it someday. But for now, I will take strange event as a miracle wonder given by God.
