Place of Interest in Jeju Island : Saeseom Island and Saeyeongyo Bridge
UNTUK VERSI BAHASA MELAYU, KLIK SINI
My blog is up again after being suspended for a week due to my bandwidth exceeded its quota. FYI, I am new to hosting services and I thought Serverfreak is cheap. Well, it is appear cheap but later on I found out that any layout changes I made on my blog, is set against my bandwidth storage. So, actually, this is quite expensive after I compared to other hosting provider that offer unlimited bandwidth with a little extra fee. I’m planning to switch soon.
Ok, this will be the last of “must visit location in Jeju”. I know most of you interested to know more on my updates and review about metropolitan city, Seoul just because Jeju Island doesn’t have K-pop stars and big shopping mall.
From my experience, Jeju Island is suit for honeymooners, or for those who choose to celebrate their wedding anniversary’s travel destination. Or for lovey dovey couples who is so into each other and live their life just like written in a love story fantasy. I’m not kidding here. You definitely will feel love is in the air once you landed on Jeju Island. Plus, Jeju Island is declared as one of zero crime location, it makes everything is safe and worry free for you to wander around this island past over midnight.
You may notice love birds holding hands, cute wefie and share ice creams almost everywhere in Jeju Island. But not Mike and I, we are more like angry bird couple. Mike with his determination to reach every destination on time, walking but I holding him from doing that since I was panting with my tired legs but still want to take bazillion pictures makes us kinda fed up with each other. You should notice that I seldom have romantic cheek to cheek wefie with Mike on Instagram. It is not like we don’t love each other like other ‘loving perfect couples’, but we just don’t have slo-mo, lovey dovey wefie while we are on budget walking tours.
Saeseom Island also known as Birds Island. Located in Seogwipo, or, to be exact, just opposite Seogwipo wharf. This little island is connected to Seogwipo by Saeyeongyo bridge which look like Burj Dubai from afar. If you following my blog and read about Cheonjiyeon Waterfall, this bridge is only 900 meters from it. So, walking tour is do able

No entrance fee to enter this Birds Island. If you are into unique birds enthusiast, you should come here early in the morning to watch many kinds of birds species on this island. Mike and I came here at 5 pm to watch sunset though. The view of the sunset from both Saeyeongyo bridge and Birds Island are indeed, breathtaking.
This island is pretty small. 1.2 kilometers wooden deck serve as walking trail is placed around this island. This island is so small, you may be able to circle the whole island within 20 minutes. There were not so many visitor at the time we were here. Maybe it was late. So you are free to take pictures alone with no one pestering your background.
Enjoy the rest of the pictures.
